Mexico is a great place but sometimes it becomes a little wild the bull Stampy's  in the city tradition.

  1. Hi Damian!

I love the pictures that you have posted about Mexico on your blog. It is a fascinating country! They do have a number of really interesting traditions. You will have the chance to learn all about them if you continue with the Summer Learning Journey programme this year.

I really hope that you continue to blog so that I can read your posts and comment on them!

    All the best,

  2. Hola Damian,
My name is Tania and I am a Manaiakalani Outreach Facilitator - I work in lots of different schools with teachers and learners who, like you, are using chromebooks for their learning and blogs to share their learning. I have been emailing with Rachel and she has told me all about The Summer Learning Journey, good on you for getting started and choosing Mexico as your country. It is great that you have found some pictures that share some of the traditions of Mexico, bull fighting and flamenco dancing. I have only been to Mexico for one day, I went to Tijuana which is just on the border of America. I look forward to learning more from your blogposts and you work your way through the activities. Enjoy your summer of learning.

  3. Kia ora Damien!

I'm Mark, a teacher working for the Summer Learning Journey you have just started. WOW, I am so excited by your choice of Mexico. I love the pictures and the way you put together your activities answer. It made it so much more enjoyable to read. Please keep up the excellent work!

If you're interested, I might have an interesting bit of historical tourism you can look into. Have you heard of the Mayans? They are the original peoples of Mexico, and were once a great civilization that disappeared into the forest. We don't know exactly what happened to them, but we found their pyramids in the jungle and have figured out a lot of interesting things about them. Maybe google image search Mayan ruins to see if it looks interesting to you.

I can't wait to read more information about Mexico from you. It is turning into one of my favourite countries for the summer programme.

    Have a great holiday!

    Mark
